For the past few weeks, K-8 students have been participating in our bowling unit in Physical Education.
Students have enjoyed learning the fundamentals of bowling and the lifelong fun that comes with the sport of bowling.
In addition, 3-8th students had the chance to learn and practice how to properly score a game of bowling by hand.
This unit was made possible thanks to the Booster Club's recent purchase of 5 separate bowling sets for the students.
The students and I (Mr. Jones) would like to sincerely thank the Booster Club for their generosity
and we look forward to using this equipment for years to come!
December 2017 - January 2018
Almost all of the Junior High students participated in the Christmas Break Reading Challenge.
Each student selects a book that they want to read over Christmas Break and then partners
with a staff member who reads the same book. The partners then met after break to discuss the book.
Participating students and adults were treated to an Ice Cream Party on Friday, January 19th.
Thanks to all that participated and keep reading!
Mr. Patterson would like to encourage all parents to take this same challenge with your own children.
